HAMSTER Corporation has acquired the rights to Warashi Inc.

HAMSTER Corporation (Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Satoshi Hamada; referred to below as “HAMSTER”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of all rights related to the games and other properties of Warashi Inc., a game publisher and developer known for producing numerous classic titles.

The acquired catalog includes titles such as “Geki-Oh ShienRyu.”

Moving forward, HAMSTER plans to more actively develop and publish Warashi Inc.’s classic titles worldwide, primarily through the “Arcade Archives” and “Console Archives” series, with the goal of bringing these games to a wider audience around the world.

In addition, for areas that HAMSTER is unable to commercialize directly, we plan to actively seek licensing partners in order to create even more opportunities for people to experience and learn about Warashi Inc.’s works.

With the utmost respect for all creators and individuals involved in Warashi Inc.’s titles, HAMSTER is committed to carefully preserving and carrying on the legacy of these valuable game properties.
