HAMSTER Corporation (Head Office: Tokyo-to, Setagaya-ku; CEO: Satoshi HAMADA; referred to below as “HAMSTER”) is happy to announce that “BALLOON BOMBER” will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. The game will be available digitally on October 1, 2026, as part of the Arcade Archives and Arcade Archives 2 series by HAMSTER.
About “BALLOON BOMBER”
“BALLOON BOMBER” is a shooting game released by TAITO in 1980.
Control the anti-aircraft gun and destroy the balloon bombs as they gently sway through the air.
However, destroying the balloon bombs is no easy task. Aim and shoot so your bullets hit only the bomb itself.
If your shot hits the balloon instead, the bomb will fall and blow a hole in the ground. Be careful, as the anti-aircraft gun cannot pass over holes, narrowing your movement range.
