We have achieved “500 consecutive weeks of releases on the Nintendo eShop”

With the release of “Arcade Archives 2 XEVIOUS 3D/G” on September 24, 2026, HAMSTER Corporation (Head Office: Tokyo-to, Setagaya-ku; CEO: Satoshi HAMADA; referred to below as “HAMSTER”) has achieved 500 consecutive weeks of releases on the Nintendo eShop.

500 Consecutive Weeks of Releases on the Nintendo eShop!

HAMSTER Corporation released Arcade Archives 2 XEVIOUS 3D/G for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24, 2026. With this release, HAMSTER has achieved 500 consecutive weeks of releases on the Nintendo eShop, under the “Most consecutive weeks to release a videogame on the Nintendo eShop” category, for which the company was recognized by Guinness World Records in August 2019.

HAMSTER has released new titles on the Nintendo eShop every week without interruption since the launch of Arcade Archives series on Nintendo Switch on March 3, 2017. On August 30, 2019, HAMSTER achieved 131 consecutive weeks of releases and was recognized by Guinness World Records for the “Most consecutive weeks to release a videogame on the Nintendo eShop.” Since then, HAMSTER has continued releasing new titles on the Nintendo eShop every week, reaching 500 consecutive weeks of releases today.
